Where are the pieces created?
Our pieces are carefully handmade in our studio in the Netherlands.
From which material are the home decor pieces made?
Our pieces are created from an eco-friendly resin. This sustainable material is made by combining a reactive mineral base with a water-based acrylic resin. It is non-toxic, non-hazardous, and safe for both you and the environment.
Is my home decor piece waterproof, fire resistant, and food safe?
Our pieces are non-toxic, contain no VOCs, and are made from a water-based, non-solvent material.
Please note that while they are water-resistant, they are not waterproof. They are also flame-resistant and hand-sealed for added UV protection. However, we recommend keeping them out of direct sunlight and away from high heat sources such as ovens, as exposure may lead to discoloration or damage.
These pieces are intended for decorative use only. We do not recommend placing food or liquids directly on them.
How do I take care for my home decor piece?
To keep your piece looking its best, gently dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth.
Please note that the material is porous and, while sealed, can still absorb liquids if exposed for too long—potentially leading to stains. In case of spills, act quickly and dap gently with a dry cloth to absorb the liquid. Avoid rubbing, as this may damage the surface or spread the stain.
If needed, rinse briefly under warm water and dry immediately with a soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, and do not place the piece in the dishwasher. Allow it to dry completely before using again.

Is it normal to see tiny bubbles on the surface of my home decor piece?
Yes, this is a natural part of the process when the reactive mineral base and water-based acrylic resin are combined to create your piece. We call these tiny marks Jesmonite freckles.
Because each piece is carefully handcrafted, no two are exactly alike. Variations in color and texture make every item truly unique—your piece is one of a kind.
Where is my candle made from?
Your candle is made from 100% all natural soy wax. Soy wax is a natural, renewable wax made from soybeans. It burns cleaner and longer than paraffin wax and gives a softer, more gradual scent.
How do I light my candle?

Can I feel safe around the fragrances in my candle?
When you're not feeling safe, you can't relax. It is very important to us that the fragrancese are safe for you and your space. All our scents are specially formulated for candles and have been extensively lab tested by home fragrance experts to ensure safety. They are responsibly sourced, vegan-friendly, and cruelty-free. Additionally, our fragrances are free from phthalates, parabens, silicone, PEGs, and CMRs, providing a clean and safe burn.
These fragrances are developed in accordance with IFRA standards, which guarantee the safe use of fragrance ingredients for humans. However, please note that IFRA standards do not address the safety or suitability of these ingredients for pets. If you have any concerns, we recommend consulting a veterinarian for advice.

How can I take care of my candle when it is tunneling?
If this occurs, you can wrap the surface of the candle with aluminum foil. Ensure the foil extends over the unmelted tunnel wax, leaving an opening above the wick and flame. This will allow the wax to melt evenly, restoring a smooth surface.
How can I get rid of soot on the surface of my candle?
You can gently wipe the surface of the candle with a soft cloth, being careful not to touch the wicks to avoid breaking them.
Why is my candle rough and bumpy at the top after burning?
This is a great indication that your candle is made from 100% soy wax. Frosting occurs when the wax cools at an uneven rate, causing it to try and return to its natural state—forming small crystals on the surface.
You may notice that the candle sometimes dries smoothly and other times unevenly or with a slightly frosted appearance. This is a natural characteristic of soy wax and does not affect the quality or performance of your candle.
Can I buy samples of the candles?
They are not available at this time, but will be soon. Once released, they will be accessible on our website.
Can I reuse my candle jar?
Yes! Scoop out any leftover wax with a spoon, then wipe the surface clean with a dry cloth or paper towel. You can also use a white eraser to remove soot marks—both methods are safe and won’t damage the surface.
Is Lightly Obsessed friendly to the environment?
The environment is our friend and so we want to treat it like one. Throughout our making, packaging, and shipping processes, we prioritize the use of paper-based and recyclable materials wherever possible.
